7G ——> should be satellite based. It will eliminate traditional tower based system and will reduce cost. It also has a larger footprint and works everywhere such as mountains or in aircraft. But we need to upgrade satellite technology. There are issues such as signal strength and atmospheric resistance. Low orbit satellite could be an option. Devices capable of handling effective satellite signal for voice and data transmission needs to be in compact design. Improvement in satellite system and technology could make this possible in the future.
